About Unlocked Talent
Every year, because traditional education fails to address the critical needs of thousands of Americans, billions of dollars worth of talent go to waste.
We believe that education is the key to unlocking this talent, and that it's only through innovation and the advancements of non-traditional education, that we can truly tap into the potential talent of all people – regardless of age, gender, and life experiences.
At Kaplan University we're committed to learning, growing, and innovating to make sure that our offerings match the individual needs of all students.
Part of innovating is keeping up with the times. That's why we've created Unlocking Talent, an aggregation of some of the best thinking around about non-traditional education, finance, career development, and personal growth. The aggregator is a place for us all to learn a little more, to dive deeply into the subject matter that interests us, and to connect with a broader education community.

Our Process
Unlocked Talent is an aggregation of some of the sites that we, at Kaplan, are reading. As we collect content, we are filtering posts to reflect only those related to education, and specifically non-traditional or innovative education.
The content pulled into this site is created by third parties who are not affiliated with, paid by, or otherwise compensated by Kaplan University (other than our blog Rethinking Higher Education, which is being aggregated). However, we do have their permission to pull from and link to their posts.
We'd like this site to become a springboard for learning and discussion about innovation and progress in education. With that in mind, other than filtering for relevance, we do not control or modify the content. So while we can not vouch for post accuracies and we may not always agree with the content, we do hope that it sparks new ways of thinking about and promoting education and talent.
If you'd like to become a part of Unlocked Talent, find out more about adding your site to our feeds.
